To me, sunflowers embody pure joy! As I arranged this bouquet, I knew I wanted to pair the sunflower with flowers that would create contrast in both color and shape. The soft, rounded petals of the roses and orchids complement the sunflower's bold, pointed petal. Together, their warm, vibrant colors remind me of a bright summer day.
The colors, patterns, and forms of nature inspire much of my artwork. As I paint, I study each bloom closely, and with each brushstroke, I hope to capture the wonder and presence I feel in their beauty. When you encounter this painting, I hope you feel that same sense of presence and admiration.
This laser-cut birchwood painting is 12" high, and approximately 10" wide with a kickstand on the back for shelf display.
